WildArt Photographer of the Year Winners - WET
WET was our second competition category theme for 2023 and was open for entries during April. We received well nearly 1,000 entries into this contest, the standard of which continues to impress our panel of expert judges. Many congratulations go to Matthew Sullivan from the United States of America who has won the category Gold Award and £250. IRMA SZABÓ - WET SILVER AWARD WINNER
Congratulations also go to Irma Szabó from Hungary who wins our Silver Award and a camera and binocular harness from Cotton Carrier with this ethereal image of a frog; and also to Simon Biddie from the United Kingdom who is awarded our Bronze prize and a copy of the first WildArt POTY collection book for his amazing underwater image of a Californian Sea Lion. Our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award winners all go forward to our grand final at the end of the year and are in with a chance of becoming our overall WildArt Photographer of the Year for 2023.

ALEX BRACKX - WET FOUNDER’S CHOICE
The Founder’s Choice for LIGHT is awarded to Alex Brackx from Belgium for this beautiful image of a New Holland Honeyeater in the rain. By winning this award, Alex’s image also goes forward to our grand final at the end of the year, along with our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award winners.
YOUNG LIGHT CATEGORY WINNER
Congratulations go to Sophie Hansen from New Zealand who wins our Young Award for WET with this fabulous image of New Zealand Kingfisher. Sophie’s image goes forward to our grand final at the end of the year when she could be crowned WildArt Young Photographer of the Year 2023 and receive a binocular from Swarovski Optik.
