WildArt Photographer of the Year Winners - WET
WET was our competition category theme for January and is the design of Gail Bisson. We received 1,100 entries into this contest, the standard of which was simply amazing. Gail and her team certainly had a really tough job selecting the winning images from the entries. Gail supported the Nova Scotia Nature Trust and their Twice the Wild campaign with WET, for which the competition raised a total of £440 through competition entries fees and private donations. Many congratulations go to Marek Mierzejewski from Poland who has won the category Gold Award with this stunning image of Marbled White butterflies entitled ‘The Enchanted Morning on the Meadow’. Marek wins £500 and goes forward to our grand final at the end of the year where he is in with a chance of winning our very first WildArt Photographer of the Year title. A recording of our online Awards Presentation is opposite which includes reviews of the images by Gail Bisson and interviews with the winners.
