HUMAN NATURE

HUMAN NATURE is another of our new categories this year and was our theme for July. Rebecca Nason was the judge in charge of this category which attracted hundreds of entries from photographers all around the globe. Entries showcased the relationship between humans and the natural world in many different ways. Many congratulations go to Irma Szabó from Hungary who has won the category Gold Award with a fabulous image of Pelicans under a bridge entitled ‘Pelicans Under the Bridge’. Irma wins £500. ANTHONY COOPER - HUMAN NATURE SILVER AWARD WINNER

Congratulations also go to Anthony Cooper from the United Kingdom who wins our Silver Award and a voucher worth $300 from F-Stop with this amazing image of a Hairy-footed Flower Bee in a keyhole; and also to Jenny Loreen Zierold from Germany who is awarded our Bronze prize and a Cotton Carrier CCS G3 Binocular and Camera Harness for her Elephant image entitled ‘On Their Way’. Our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award winners all go forward to our grand final at the end of the year and are in with a chance of becoming our overall WildArt Photographer of the Year for 2022.

FOUNDER’S CHOICE

The Founder’s Choice for HUMAN NATURE is awarded to Jan Piecha from Germany for his image of a Hare crossing an urban street at night entitled ‘City Hare’. This image is also Highly Commended by the judges. By winning this award, Jan’s image also goes forward to our grand final at the end of the year, along with our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award winners.

THAMBOON UYYANONVARA - HUMAN NATURE YOUNG CATEGORY WINNER

Congratulations go to Thamboon Uyyanonvara from Thailand who wins our Young Award for HUMAN NATURE with this outstanding image of a Bryde’s Whale feeding in the Gulf of Thailand. Thamboon wins £50 and his image goes forward to our grand final at the end of the year when he could be crowned WildArt Young Photographer of the Year 2022.
