WildArt Photographer of the Year Winners - BEHAVIOUR
BEHAVIOUR is another of our new categories this year and was our theme for May. William Steel was the judge in charge of this category which attracted over 1,000 entries from photographers all around the globe. Entries varied from large African mammals to small amphibians and insects making the judging process a pleasure to complete. Many congratulations go to Khurram Khan from the United States of America who has won the category Gold Award with his high key image of a Harrier Hawk entitled ‘Lurking’. Khurram wins £500. Congratulations also go to Matthew Sullivan from the United States of America who wins our Silver Award and a voucher worth $300 from F-Stop with this amazing image of a Banded Jawfish entitled ‘Dad’s Care’; and also to Bianca Blonk from the Netherlands who is awarded our Bronze prize and a Cotton Carrier CCS G3 Binocular and Camera Harness for her high key image of squabbling Great Tits. Our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award winners all go forward to our grand final at the end of the year and are in with a chance of becoming our overall WildArt Photographer of the Year for 2022.
BIANCA BLONK - BEHAVIOUR BRONZE AWARD WINNER
FOUNDER’S CHOICE
The Founder’s Choice for BEHAVIOUR is awarded to Ananth Ramasamy from India for his outstanding image of a Shaheen Falcon. This image is also Highly Commended by the judges. By winning this award, Ananth’s image also goes forward to our grand final at the end of the year, along with our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award winners.
JOMTUP CHAROENLAPNUMCHAI - BEHAVIOUR YOUNG CATEGORY WINNER
Congratulations go to Jomtup Charoenlapnumchai from Thailand who wins our Young Award for BEHAVIOUR with this amazing image of a pelican catching fish. Jomtup wins £50 and his image goes forward to our grand final at the end of the year when he could be crowned WildArt Young Photographer of the Year 2022.
